Was craving pasta and this hit the spot. An odd ambiance it’s not casual yet it’s not fancy. There are butchers paper “table cloths” which were bizarre, but the ambiance other than that is nice. Service was really lovely and prompt. My spaghetti was delicious although it was VERY oily and looked really unappetising when you got to the bottom, completely saturated in oil. The other dish was the prawn and asparagus penne, the sauce was great and the prawns were cooked well but the penne was too hard, it was undercooked. Too much cheese in the gnocci, the marharita dough lacked fluffyness and integrity (very floppy and soggy). Also no spoons served with pasta which I found really odd. The wine glasses were also streaky and whilst I’m sure they were clean it simply looked bad and shows a poor attention to detail. Generous portion sizes, not cheap but not expensive. Would come again but would love to see some little improvements
