Nice meeting place for a drink and a bite. Craft beers and good selection of wines and cocktails. Menu limited but interesting. Share plates. Good prices. Service is not brilliant but polite. A cosy atmosphere makes it worth a visit.
Quite a cosy place but well worth a visit. Some really good craft beers available and a limited number of wines. The share food selection is small but good.
This is a great place to have a drink if you don’t want to go to a pub. Great range of craft beers (some on tab and keep changing) but very limited, in terms of choice on the nibblies/ snacks.
Lovely place around Hamilton. The place has a cosy feel to it. Great selection of beers and wines. We had the shared meat platter which was very nice. Very friendly service and excellent food overall.
We walked in, sat down at an unclear table and waited for service which did not arrive so after an amount of time watching the staff faff around we left. We went to Zest down the road instead. The Stables fit out was lovely but the closest thing I got to a menu was the one I read on the Internet before I got there. Not the first time Stables has left me hungry and waiting for service.
Simple advice – the popcorn chicken is an absolute must! Meals are well priced and more than reasonable serving sizes. Steak sandwich is a winner and the beer selection is surprisingly good for a restaurant in the burbs.
Great little spot for a cold drink and nibbles. Food menu is not extensive but what they do, they do very well. Bar staff are knowledgable about their product and happy to help you decide on your brew. 1 and only gripe, wine menu is very limited and hasn’t changed since they opened.
