This place is by no means anything spectacular, it’s your typical suburban Chinese takeaway, but if that’s what you’re after then it’s not too bad. Although some of the meals can be quite greasy, I have had a couple that have been quite enjoyable. The fried rice here is absolutely delicious, has a really good smoky flavour, but the entrees are all pretty average, probably wouldn’t bother with any of them again.

Tried this place after moving suburbs. Ordered the special fried rice, deep fried dim sims, honey chicken and duck in plum sauce to takeaway. Dim sims were crunchy and good. Honey chicken was plenty but they were tiny strips of chicken in batter and tasted a little dry inside. Duck was plentiful, slightly burnt but ok. Fried rice was nice but the chicken and BBQ pork strips were few and just placed on top of the rice. Probably wouldn’t go back anytime soon.

I know this restaurant looks dingy from the outside and it’s interior is no better but the food here is sensational. It’s a family business and they’re the friendliest to talk to, they’re welcoming and try to please. I recommend their BBQ pork ribs (BBQ sauce is so flavourful) , their duck is a great serving size filled with nuts at the bottom and their satay sauce is as authentic as you’ll find. I love their beef ho fun noodles, and their stir fry soft noodles too. I don’t eat seafood but my parents love their prawns and think there’s a good amount per dish. Their fine spices dish (deep fried) is not too greasy and perfectly balanced. And their spring rolls are the best in brisbaneI cannot rate their food better! Lost 0.5 point just for decor but I do know the owners of the store only rent the place and can’t do much about renovating it!

The pork ribs were off. They smelt and tasted like rotten meat.

8/10. I really like this place. It’s a little grubby which is off putting but the food is good. It’s suburban, greasy Chinese so if you’re expecting anything different you won’t like it but it’s delicious for what it is. A couple of their meals are really greasy (steer clear of the satay chicken) but everything else I’ve had from there has always been good. Best fried rice I’ve ever had, nothing compares.

Other Chinese take aways pale in comparison! Always tasty, quick and really friendly staff – after ordering only a few times, the lady knew my name and order by heart. Recommend Fillet Chicken in Crab Meat Sauce, Sate Chicken and the boneless pork ribs – yum!Won’t eat Chinese food from anywhere else 🙂
