Cute little shop front with limited seating inside. Best for takeaways. Delicious sushi rolls and hot food. All made on the premises. They also do platters for functions. Park under Woolies.
This is a regular stop off for myself. Either on the way to work or dashing in, in between meetings. You always are greeted with smiley, friendly and efficient service which is brilliantly followed up by great fresh Sushi. Couldn’t ask for more from a quick lunch stop.
Have been to this sushi place before with no problems. This time sushi was missing the seaweed in the middle and was bland and tasteless. The tempura was also soggy. They were poorly rolled and varied in size. Would not spend $38 again for this.
Great value. Only one minor complaint is that sometimes there can be a bit of a wait but the Ginger Pork Belly is one of my favorite meals. Consistently delicious!
Nice little sushi place conveniently located next to the Woolworths shopping area on Ashgrove Avenue. We had the chicken karage and gingered pork belly. Generous portions. Both were really good!
Always love the sushi made fresh to order from here! Even as a pregnant woman, happily eat their raw fish sushi as it is of high quality. To order sushi made fresh you have to order two of everything, but I am more than happy to do that with these guys
Given the prices of the dishes and the low quality of the food, in retrospect it seems very expensive for what you get.I had the Ginger Pork Belly Don (Pork Belly & Rice) and it took a little while to be brought out but to me that’s usually a good sign that it’s being freshly made. At first glance the dish looked nice but things went downhill from there. Every single piece of pork belly was ridiculously chewy. I’m not talking a little tough, it was like eating beef jerky type chewy. Every single piece. The pork was way overcooked resulting in dry rubbery meat and the dish lacked any standout flavour to even mildly compensate for this. After a few mouthfuls I was left with sore jaw muscles from chewing so hard to break it down into something that could be swallowed. The girl at the front of the counter was perfunctorily friendly enough but I would highly recommend not wasting your time here.
