We orders 2 mains and 4 side dishes among the two of us1)okonomiyaki vegetarian: this is my favourite out of the other dishes2)agedashi tofu: a bit over fried/dark brown on the outside, the sauce has a strong hit of rice wine which was to my liking.3)vegetarian sushi rolls and ebi tempura rolls: poorly made, the sushi couldn’t hold up well, broke apart when I tried grabbing with my chopstick.4)stir fry vegetarian soba in omelette: the sauce was a bit overpowering, was expecting the normal tofu instead of the sweetened bean curd skin. This adds on the already strong flavoured sauce they use for sir fry.5)Chili clams: nice and spicy, a bit pricey given the small serving.Overall I would recommend the okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake) and the clams (if you’re a fan). Price was a bit high given the quality that is being delivered.
Never liked sushi until I tried sushi from here a few years ago, then I was hooked. This chain is the only one I buy sushi from, Ashgrove and now Albany Creek (as I have moved) Love it!
Yum food! Only small amount of seating and probably best to takeaway. Nearly always great service although they are super busy during dinner and lunch hours. I find it much better to go at offpeak hours. All in all a great place for Japanese cuisine.
