Nice ambience and staff, food okay but coffee ordinary. The Gallery 5 looks to be the nicest cafe in Atherton. Especially with the morning sun, the cafe is nice and airy. The inside of the cafe has a really nice feel and inviting to it. The staff are very pleasant, as everyone we came across in Atherton seemed to be. We ordered poached eggs, egg and bacon roll and coffees. The poached eggs on toast were good and the poached eggs were spot on. The spinach was dry and a little tired, which upset the balance of the dish. The egg and bacon roll was good. The cafe lattes were ordinary. The coffee taste was just weak. Locals said it was the best coffee in town. I think this might me right with the cafe itself, but the coffee needs to step up a lot.

The staff are amazing friendly and helpful. The coffee is fabulous. The food is wonderful. I love it there. Chicken pot pie is sooo yummy. The gift shop is quirky and interesting.
