Had my morning coffee in this tiny coffee hut. There was only one young lady running the show and she performed so efficient with friendly attitude. I think the trading strategy is for take-away, therefore she only served me coffee in a paper cup even I told her that I preferred to have my coffee at the rear of the shop (there are three little tables). Well, coffee was passable to go with the banana bread but I still prefer to have it in a mug although it may be ugly.
Noticed this little coffee place after a great meal just around the corner. Just had to try it of course!! The coffee definitely was not great, rather disappointing, (bitter & weak with a large head on the flat white) as it seems they mainly specialize in the liquid, they don’t have much else on offer. What did look good were the almond croissants, but they were miserably wrapped up in plastic.
Great coffee at a great price, Brisbane coffee on average is overpriced and often terrible, so was very happy to find ugly mug nearby. The couple of food items are also cheap but good quality.
I thought I’d try somewhere different for a quick coffee. I won’t be back. Coffee was hot and split, service was ok but a little pretentious for such a small little hole in the wall cafe with less than satisfactory coffee.
