Don’t bother…at all…ever. Not even my husband would eat it and he normally eats anything. Watery, tasteless curries that taste like they’ve come out of a jar
It really is so hard to find a good Indian takeaway these days and unfortunately this is not one of them! I ordered a butter chicken and a cheese naan. The quality of the curry was terrible, it’s like they add a ridiculous amount of cream to make it go further therefore lacking real Indian flavours. You would expect a vibrant orange looking colour but not this one that’s for sure. Not only is the sauce pretty much tasteless, the chicken pieces look like tandoori chicken taken off the skewer and thrown into the curry. Its pretty much like having two separate ingredients (the sauce and the chicken) obviously as the chicken hasn’t absorbed any sauce flavours. The naan was below average too. It lacked filling which meant is was pretty much as flat as a piece of paper. Very disappointing as there brochures states that they are one of the best Indian place in Brisbane…. I don’t think so!
You’ve changed man. This place used to be my favourite Indian in brisbane. But lately the curries lack flavour and are very watery, and they have become very stingy on the meat. Will have to find somewhere new
It is a shame, the curries are watery, all taste the same and you get so little meat or veg. Get allot of Naan to soak in all the curry juice. I have decided to nip acriss the road and get spices from the Indian store already prepared, check in some cut meat and frozen veges and save myself $10 and I can make 10 x as much and heaps tastier than here. Shame its gotten stingy 🙁
Best curry ive ever eaten !!!!!. This is the best curry shop in brisbane , period
Disappointed. This place has gone down hill. Watery curries that all taste the same. More gravy than meat & veg. Service was very average and no one seemed to care about our experience when we gave feed back to both the female and the male waitstaff. Why bother asking us if you don’t care about the answer? Won’t be returning.
FAKE INDIAN FOOD. WARNING! DO NOT EAT HERE!! I love my Indian food so living down the rd from a curry place (I live in banyo) I thought well it’s logical that I try this place. Worst food and worst service ever! I can’t remember what I ordered it was that bad but it had chicken and potatoes. I got to eat it & could u believe it had 1 potatoe cut the size of a malteaser! I went & asked the cook if I could obviously have more? & he kicked up a stink! He said ‘read the menu it says potatoe NOT potatoes!’ seriously?? A malteaser sized potatoe for a whole container of curry are you kidding me? Not only that it tasted horrible like watery Jared curry. No wonder why singhs curry hut is ALWAYS empty. I recommend boondall, bracken ridge or chermside for good tasty curry!!
