I will never go here again. I took three adults and two children for brunch. Placed order and waited. After three quarters of an hour we enquired about our food and were told that their printer in the kitchen had run out of paper. Our kitchen order must have disappeared.No one came out to check on table numbers to see if any orders were missing. No on endeavoured to correct a fault of their system. If we hadn’t enquired we would have been left sitting there for hours.What really upset me was the attitude of the man behind the till. No apologies. No concern. No sympathy. Just a “what did you order?” and silently processed a refund to get me out of the café ASAP. He was more interested in serving the next customer and taking more money.I will acknowledge that the young teenage waitress (guessing 16 to 17) apologized a few times and displayed real remorse. A pity the older staff was not more proactive in fixing a mistake caused by their incompetency. Management should take some lessons in hospitality and concern from their junior waitress.
Fantastic cafe, great location and amazing food! My partner and I had lunch at the Botanical Gardens Cafe just before a work through the gardens. We were amazed at the food we were served, in all honesty we didn’t have a high expectation of the cafe but what we experienced made us want to tell all our friends to come here. We ordered the avocado on toast with dukka and the calamari. The flavour everything held was in the lack of a better word amazing! I’m a massive avo on toast fan and this one has topped my list. If you are in or around Mt Coot-tha definitely stop by the Botanical Gardens Cafe for a great meal.

The iced mocha tasted great, although it would be good if it came in a larger glass/size!A great place for a snack, meal or coffee after visiting Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens. Highly recommended!
A great destination to meet up with family and friends and enjoy a catch up over a cup of coffee and some nice food. The staff in the Cafe are always friendly and helpful. The beautiful atmosphere is refreshing as you look out onto the gardens and lawns, and taking a leisurely stroll among the gardens and the water features is a must and worth the visit.
