Growing up out The Gap/Ashgrove way we weren’t spoiled for choice like you are in the city, there was never much around but this is one place that I have always loved and frequented. The dumplings here are good and good value for money too. They have always been really fresh, quite flavoursome and full of good quality ingredients. I have had better Shanghai dumplings but their peanut and pork dumplings and their chicken glutinous rice in lotus leaf are delicious. The staff always have a smile on their face and will happily recommend dishes if you can’t decide on what to order. Would definitely recommend giving this place a go if you’re in the area.

The best kept secret around Ashgrove/Bardon/ The Gap and Enoggera. Easily the best dumplings North of the River and CBD. As long as you are a little flexible and patient you’ll be in for a treat.The place is owned by a retired couple who do what they do for the love of the GAME, hence the limited opening hours that make it perfect for quick take away.The standard fare is very good, but the dumplings/ dim sum is excellent.The dumpling menu in store (still available for takeaway) has a significantly more diverse list of dim sum options.
This is the first time I wrote a review. I’ve been back to it two times in one week. This place is so good, best dumplings ever! Everything is made in house so it is very fresh. And the five spice pork ribs are amazing.
Dumplings, get in my mouth. Can’t believe I hadn’t heard about this gem. I can’t tell you about the noodle or meat dishes as the yum cha is so very good. Suggest the pork and peanut or shanghai dumplings. Handmade in house.

These are the best dumplings outside of Singapore and Hong Kong. I can’t believe I have lived up the road for 4 years and not gone here! We had a sweet corn soup, delicious. The Shanghai Dumplings were hand made and out of this world, just perfect 🙂 The bbq
