We had a coupon deal for Bogarts But the meals here are very fairly priced without a coupon deal. They have a lot of specials, one which caught my eye was the potato bake, served with silverside. This counted me out but my friend was keen (he is a carnivore) I settled for the fish & chips with salad. The salad was one which you would expect to get in an era which I have almost forgot! Nowadays they always serve salads as leaves, this was not, it actually had tomatoes, letuce, onions, cucumber,carrot! The fish was obviously the frozen type but for a meal deal it wasn’t half bad. The service was friendly with a genuine home feel about it- as was most of the cooking. Coffee was served in large mugs (not my thing) but that also was definately not bad- oh & dogs are made welcome outside with water bowls cheerfully provided
