Have been 3 times for chinese, always the optimist. I must say the fried rice is quiet nice but the dishes I have had. Beef b/bean, sweet sour and honey chicken have not been. The b/bean was very bitter and not much meat and the batter for the the other two have been very soggy. Nice owners but.
This is some of the best Asian style food I have ever eaten. It is so fresh and expertly cooked. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Average and expensive. I had the beef and blackbean sauce, fried wontons and rice. The beef and blackbean tasted nice enough, but there was nowhere near enough meat in the dish (25% at most). At $11 for the dish, this is a rip off. The fried wontons probably would have tasted okay, but for some reason, they put honey in the bottom of the container. No mention of honey that I saw on the menu and I wasn’t asked whether or not I would like honey on my wontons (which I wouldn’t because I dislike honey)The fried rice was nice. Not the best I’ve had, but decent.Overall, not happy with the meal and wouldn’t recommend.
I also tried the noodles last week they were soft. There was mainly just onion tiny bit of greens and a palm size of meat. The only meal that i would sugest would be mongolian. Forget the rest and spring rolls straight out of the box home brand i would think05 Jul, 2014I tried the sweet and sour pork tonight. It was over cooked no meat all fat. I dont think they have changed the oil in there fryers in a long time. I wouldnt even feed that to a stray dog
Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Food is very fresh and prepared on the spot to order.Staff are friendly and remember you every time you come back. The Owners are there to make sure everything runs smooth.Pricing is very reasonable possibly to cheap I would defiantly be happy to pay more should his prices go up!Well worth the visit!
Very yummy. We ordered Chinese takeaway and it was the best I’ve had in ages. Tasted very crisp and fresh, not soggy and slimy like some Chinese places. The place isn’t much to look at, it’s just like a small fish n chip joint, so not the best for dining in, but the food was amazing, very reasonably priced, and great serving sizes and service. It was very busy so we will call ahead with our order next time. Saying that, the owner gave us complimentary prawn crackers for waiting so long, which was really nice. Definitely going back there again!
I am a regular at Far East and eat there on a weekly basis. I had to share my review as the quality, taste, service and value is absolutely outstanding. Like a trip around the world all wrapped up in on amazing take away store. Thank you Far East. I tell everyone you are the best take away to eat at in logan district without a doubt.
