Had a Scoopon dinner last night at this Italian restaurant. Set-up nice & grand (4/5). Service was average, some of the wait staff were good and some were not, however, most of them were not that attentive (3/5). I think this restaurant is very popular due to the fact that it was very busy last night and there were lots of locals with diversified clientele. Ordered entrees of mussels & beef carpaccio. Size of entrées were perfect. Mussel deserved thumb-up, particularly the rich flavour sauce and juicy mussel meat (4.5/5), Beef carpaccio was good in terms of seasoning but the beef can be thinner (4/5). Due to the delicious of these two entrees, additional entrée of Calamaretti Fritti was ordered, however, it was too salty even thought the texture was not bad (3/5). Mains of Duck Risotto with Mushroom (Chef suggestion) was good and that is the best risotto rice that I had for the past 12 months, however, the duck meat was slightly let down with the rubbery skin (3.5/5). Another main of Spaghetti was surprisingly good, pasta was al dente with heaps of seafood and traces of chilli taste (4/5). Overall, it was a nice dining experience and this restaurant is recommended.
