This place is great! Quirky cafe that also sell housemade chocolates, random decor, household items, teas, jams and gifts. Plenty of Indoor and outdoor dining available. The food tasty, was reasonable priced and the portion size was great I couldn’t finish it. Their iced chocolates was by far one of the best I’ve tasted. Highly recommended.

We had a party of 4 people. 3 chose the toasted focacia with chicken, pinenut pesto. I had the lamb, honey, cashew nut salad with raiata dressing. Everyone was happy with their meals. We tried the passionfruit butter sponge which was also nice. The salted cashew nut chocolate was nice but a little much salt on the outer layer for my liking. A lovely atmosphere with gourmet chutneys etc for sale. Beautiful surroundings with homeware and craft shop nearby. I would recommend a visit to this village and this cafe.

Regulat diner at the chocolate cottage. Its the first place i take any out of towners. When the sun is shining there is no more beautiful place to have lunch. The whole area is absolutely beautiful, lush green countryside and quirky little gift shops. The food is avsolutely to die for. I usually get the quiche of the day which is always an amazingly unsual combination and comes with a huuuge yummy side salad. One occasion it was pear and blue cheese which i loved. On this occasion i had turkey cranberry and brie. Also pretty good. Many occasions i have had the grilled chicken salad which is also amazing. I have never seen a dish leave the kitchen that didnt look super delicious. Favourite place in high fields for sure. Only complaint is that there are always stacks of people

Went for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Very tasty. had a stroll through the shops afterwards (too expensive), but thought the chocolate from this place was very average.

Love it. Great family owned business that sells an interesting variety of chocolate, as well as a great assertion of cakes and meals to dine indoor or out in a complex with an amazing view. Products for sale are cute and quirky and come with lovely service.

Friendly and informative service in a beautifully quaint setting culminated in a surprisingly delicious lunch! I chose a club Panini with turkey, bacon, jarlsberg cheese and salad, which came in an extremely generous serving. It was exactly what I expected from a good Panini, and due to its size and sheer magnitude of ingredients, had a different and equally satisfying flavour with every bite. Also, despite there being a multitude of customers, it was served fairly quickly. Definitely a good find for out this far.

Absolutely pathetic staff. Walked in, and had to wait at the counter for ages to be served by a borderline hostile girl. We thought it was just the one girl but all of the staff were equally awful. We went to sit down and after waiting awhile asked another girl if our drinks would be served at the table and were brusquely told we had to wait at the counter (no table service for drinks at the prices they’re charging is totally outrageous). After hovering around the counter for awhile we decided to sit down near the counter and keep an eye on it. Then we saw our drinks get taken to another table and had to help the waitress out. Hot chocolates were totally average. The one thing I will say is the dcor was nice. It was just an overpriced chocolate oriented cafe, 1/10, would never go back. The owners should have a serious review of staff because the place was totally ruined because of the horrific service.
