Late review, I went here twice in Autumn 2018 – the first time with the family for morning tea (Terrace Menu) and the second time with the partner for the coverted lunch. Note – you must PRE-BOOK lunch. For morning tea – we enjoyed the ‘Lavender Scones’ (very subtle on lavender, but the scones were well made and the accompanying jam and scones were fresh); ‘Honey and Lavender Baked Cheesecake’ (again very subtle on lavender and a little bit heavy in texture for my liking) as well as ‘BYO Finger Food: Sweet Potato Fries + Chicken Drumsticks’ (delicious mini versions of chicken drumsticks and one of the best sweet potato fries I have tried). For lunch – we enjoyed the ‘Braised Duck’ (perfectly cooked duck with sweet and sour accompanying berries and beetroot) and ‘Wild Rabbit with Spatzle’ (flavourful shredded meat in a homely style pasta dish). We enjoyed our meal with Kooroomba’s Alba (light, dry white wine). For dessert, we had the ‘Ice Cream’ (pretty to look at and delicately delicious to eat).Smart casual ambience. Kooroomba is absolutely stunning – vineyard and lavender (win-win)! Lunch require reservations – indoor seating. If you’re coming for the terrace menu, then it is mainly outdoors seating. Service friendly and efficient. Prices on the higher end – but wonderful views and popular with the tourists.Overall, a wonderfully scenic area with an excellent lunch menu (and wines).

Loved the experience, do get a booking on the weekend as it gets busy! There are only a few workers in this busy place, so try to be patient as it is definitely worth it! The main dishes were all delicious! We ordered the pork belly, beef cheeks, and the fish of the day. They were all outstanding dishes, but the fish of the day took my vote! It was perfectly cooked salmon, with crispy skin! Combined with all the elements, I was craving another plate all to myself. However, the most memorable dish would be the lavender ice cream. It will blow your mind. The balance of lavender in the ice cream is just perfect. I will definitely be going back there again. Note: there is also an amazing view!

Beautiful hidden gem. Found it out of nowhere while we were exploring, what a good find! Only did the wine tasting, which was really good value for money and the wines are delicious and easy drinking. Will definitely have to go back for lunch.

The setting of this restaurant is stunning and the décor is pleasing but the wait for food and the cost far outweighed the positives. Although friendly, the waitresses didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the menu. Most mains were priced at $30+. I’m happy to pay this price for a great meal but after waiting 90+ mins and being served meals that were not even hot, I could not justify (a) paying that amount; or (b) ever going back. Disappointed to say the least!
