Worst Indian food ever!! The gravy for paneer tikka was no where near how it should be, it was more like mashed tomatoes with lot of sugar and vinegar and crumbly paneer… Mix veg curry was the same gravy minus the sugar… Garlic naan seemed as though they were bought from a super market… Absolutely disgusting food quality and ambience… I hope they shut down!!

Edible but not enjoyable. Would never ever go back here. Too much sugar in the Chana masala – it was sickly sweet. However, the quality of chicken in the korma was good quality. I would not advise going here.

Been going to Maharani for over 20 years. So yummy, such a nice family. This is what started my love affair with curry and the original is still the best.

Not real good.We came because at the time of writing this the average score was 4.1 and we were killing time before a show start at the BEC.I’m not sure what happened but it was not worth the money – Worst Indian food I’ve eaten.I think the way they make the sauces is by adding powders / bases to a plain sauce they have simmering out back.We asked for a mild Korma and it literally looked and tasted like a plain white sauce. Awful. The Chicken Tandoori wasn’t much better and the Naans were both Doughy and undercooked.Eating in was a joke as there was almost no table service. There wasn’t even water for the table. Please do yourselves a favour and eat somewhere else.

Usually great westernised Indian curries. Great naan breads and sides until recently it has gone downhill. Sides seem to be reheated the next day and taste stale and dried out. The chicken is hit and miss, some of the best fresh chicken I have had and some of the worst dried out I have ever has as well. The final nail in the coffin for me here was a pakora with long black hair in the batter as I broke it open. Shame as it used to be quite good.

Hidden gem. Dont judge this place by its appearance if I did I would have never have tried the food here – the decor is outdated to say the least but these uys have been in operation for such a long time thats saying something. I must say the food is really beautiful. Nice authetntic flavours.

This is the best Indian food in Brisbane. Don’t let the decor fool you. They are known very well for their takeaway however dining in is still the best option.A+ food and A+ staff
