On a midweek day three had lunch and were waited upon by the delightful Ash. The lunchtime specials were outstanding value in terms of quality interest and price. Exquisite salmon pork belly and cauliflower outstanding and coffin bay oysters were as fresh as could be! Onto the braised beef short rib etcAs I said superb. Ive wanted to dine here for years. Finally had an opportunity and booked in for lunch. We skipped starters and had mains:- prawns, pork, greens & fries. The prawns were very smoky and that was the only discernible flavour. I asked my friend if she liked her pork & she said the greens were more enjoyable. The tiramisu didnt seem to have any chocolate, just coffee & cream. It was pretty meh.The wine the waiter recommended was lovely, Abellio Albarino.$207 for two people. Not likely to go back again.
