What you think about this place probably depends on what you’re after. On the plus side, it was one of the few places still doing coffee late on a weekend afternoon. On the minus side, the coffee wasn’t very good. The flat white, asked for strong, tasted like cooked milk. Soy is $1 extra, which is above the standard additional charge. If seeking a laid back, relaxed place to chill out, this wasn’t it. It was more a rowdy bar atmosphere, with already intoxicated people squawking shrilly, the sound trapped and amplified by the solid walls enclosing the space. elsewherebriefly.com
The restaurant is located in a laneway which does not look great and to be honest scary and rundown but I am so glad that I overcame my slightly unnerved feeling. I ordered the Brew salad and a locally brewed cider. The salad was so great that I nearly licked my plate (one of the best I have had in ages). The cider was a great add on to the meal. This place is seriously funky and laid back. It’s was one of my favourite places to dine in and/or have some drinks in a hidden pocket of Brisbanes CBD.

On the queens birthday we decided to go brew for brunch Staffs are very nice and friendly even its a holiday when they deserve a break!I am very happy with my eggs my way For just 13.5, I wasnt expecting this large portion The amount of scramble eggs I got feels like a whole dozen of eggs and they taste delicious! I left with a full stomach;)))Coffee on the other hand was massive at the same time! Totally worth it for 5 bucks:))I am happy to pay my surcharge on a public holiday with this experience:)thank you for the great dine in experience today:))Worth going and I really recommend the eggs your way guys go try it I would definitely recommend
