My review on David’s Noodles is quite mixed because there were both great and not so great aspects of the restaurant. First of all you pick all of your ingredients which is fun, the veggies were all very fresh and there were lots of options to choose from! about 5 different noodle options too which is a big plus for me! going up to the counter, I was a bit surprised at the price being so high but it was okay. Finding a seat was difficult as it was extremely busy during the lunch rush. it took about 10-15 minutes for my food to come out. first impression was that it was HUGE! the broth was very flavourful, but unfortunately not very numbing. there is a small selection of sauces including fresh garlic, fresh chilli, dried chilli, sesame paste, vinegar and salt and sugar. over all it was pretty good and I am wanting to go back to try it again. my note to take away from this experience, is less is more when it comes to picking out ingredients, i hadn’t taken into consideration that the noodles would expand so much.

As a Chinese, I really like spicy food, this Malatang is very spicy and tasty. Itโ€™s the best malatang Iโ€™ve ever ate in Brisbane. I really like it. If you like spicy food, this is the best choice in this food court.

The soup here has incredible flavour. You get to choose your own ingredients and they cook it up with the broth you select. The lines are long at lunch as it is so popular and the service is slow. I just keep going back because the flavour of the Malatang is fantastic.
