I had an exceptional dining experience here last weekend!First off, the view is epic, as you would expect from Eagle St Pier.I went here with an empty stomach and high expectations and i left with a smile on my face and a full belly!I found it tough to decide between a few dishes, so i thought, why not go the 4 courses for $50.I had the garlic bread, calamari, chicken paragon, the coffee dessert and an espresso. This was not a meal, this was a feast! I struggled to finish it all, but ensured i did, as my tastebuds were tingling and didn’t want to deprive them of the flavours.Would i recommend the 4 courses and a coffee for $50? Hell yeah i would!!! Don’t forget to wash it down with a red wine 😉 (i went for the cab sauv)
It’s in a good location but the food is decidedly average. I ordered the barbecued bugs and pita bread. The bugs were fresh but I wasn’t that impressed by the sauce and seasoning. It didn’t quite seem to match. The pita bread was lovely but I was there for seafood. Also the half price special really looks like a bit of a rip off considering it doesn’t apply to the better seafood dishes and the prices after discount aren’t that much better than other places.
Great food. Get seated before 6:30 for 1/2 price menu.Be careful when dining on the weekend though, youll get slapped with a 10% weekend surcharge
The 4 of us had one seafood platter and could not finish it. The seafood is fresh and well cooked and it is next to Brisbane River. However if you wish to try more variety and were interested in the half price dishes, make sure you read the menu carefully.
The place is amazing. You will have a view of the Brisbane river. The food tastes good too. We went there for lunch. I ordered the ”ship and shore”. It got lobster, steak, prawns and salad. The lobster was so good with mornay sauce. The salad is ok. But the steak is quite over cooked. The dessert of the day was a nougat with pistaccios. It was ok. Oh the calamari is the best.
Eye roll. Called up to see if we could make a last minute booking and they told us we are welcome to walk in and wait. Get there to be told no sorry were fully booked and are only allowed on a set menu with major attitude like we were making it up. OK. Dont tell people to come in if you want accept anymore customers when we couldve booked elsewhere.
They advertise half price dining between 5.30 to 6.30pm. Total lie. The meals are halve serves instead and twice the price. You put your order in only to be told that the menu you have is already half price. EG. Baklava is &15.80 and coffee is $5. Wow where is the half price. If it sounds too good to be true!!! IT IS. Dont get fooled like hundreds do.
