First time here (unfortunately there is not much choice in the Brisbane CBD for great coffee on a weekend). One simple job to make coffee . First one was close to the surface temperature on the sun. REJECTED. second one was a bit better. Just because there is no real competition on a weekend, doesnt mean you shouldnt be your best.

My mother had two black hairs in her sandwich and complained politely. The waitress denied it was theirs and walked off without telling the owner who was rude and abrupt in taking my order. Don’t bother, waste of money.

4.7 dollars for a regular sized coffee. Slightly overpriced but coffee was good. Not burnt. Lady serving was not rude but could use a smile. Will be back to try the food.

scones & sandwiches are very nice, if expensive (but then again it’s the city) the coffee is terrible and I mean terrible (it’s Merlo which should be good and is else where but here!) I have left 3 cups in the last couple of months after the first sip.

This is a really cute and cosy place, located in the Brisbane arcade. Always walk pass the arcade butnever got to get in, but today walked through the arcade and walked pass the cafe plus wanting a coffee at lunch time, so we decided to have a try.Coffee – Not bad at all.And seeing the big toasted sandwiches from other tables (looks good to me).

Diana. Enjoy the coffee here in town on Sat mornings mainly because it is consistantly well done Merlo & most of the other good coffee shops are closed on Sat & Sun. The food looks good by my observations & service always prompt & polite
