I have a sweet tooth and this shop has become my regular spot although I have been visited so many dessert shops in Brissy. This one never let me down. Thumbs up for their friendly staff and peaceful atmosphere. Their Want Zai & White Rabbit products are highlight. If you haven’t tried it then this has to be your first step into bubble heaven. My wife tried something new every time we go and she has never been disappointed. Highly recommend
Although he may not look it, Adam is one of the leading Bubble Tea experts in Brisbane. Always keen to try out every single store, getting weird and wonderful combinations every time, he’s had more bubble tea than any one else I know. So when he heard of Hype Tea opening down on an alleyway off Elizabeth Street, next to the ever popular Stauss, he had to check it out. Having missed it a few times as it wasn’t open when we wanted to go, we finally made our way over after work last week. Selling tea, clothes and sneakers was an interesting combination to say the least.
Absolutely Delicious!!! I had the signature boba lave cake & original yogurt with purple rice and it was amazing. The cake was so perfect. Hubby had the soy milk custard Icebox Cake & said would have to be the best he’s ever had. Everything was exceptional, we will come back again for sure!!

Friendly peeps & gangsta beats value add & make this place stand out from the pack for me. Cakes & treats are made in-house (the bobo lava cake is a must) & thankfully there’s not a gazillion drink choices to mess with my head. With some moral support, I even braved ordering cheese tea here for the first time. (Um, yum! Loving the subtle light savoury finish.) Slightly pricier than its derivative counterparts yet I find myself returning to support my new fav, loyalty card in hand. May the bubble never burst.
