  Should be an ideal cafe.  Well located outside Myer.  Well laid out with very comfortable chairs.  However that’s it.  Food is ‘hit and miss’.  I have been served sandwiches in the plastic case – I’d be forgiven for thinking I was on an airline instead of at a nice relaxing cafe.  Servings of foods such as quiche vary greatly in size.  Coffee is average.  Probably the most disappointing thing is the staff .  Not only does noone ever smile but they are downright rude.  I went for lunch today with four other ladies.  There were 3 of us still sitting there a couple of hours later discussing another coffee and the girl came and cleared the table, wiped it down with a grubby rag and tidied the other chairs up.  The message appeared to be that we had finished?  I visit this cafe with this group of friends once or twice a month and have done over the past three years.  Always the same.  Location and comfortable chairs is IT – if these don’t matter go somewhere else.

  Low level of customer service, rude staff to customer, not welcome customers to come. Very disappointed of the customer service. The food and drinks are far BELOW standard and LOW quality. Will NOT recommend to all my friends to try these MANNEQUINS CAFE although the cafe is located right centre outside MYER, however I knew there are so many different cafe at Pacific Fair that I can choose.

  My family and I just gone to this cafe today at around 215pm. We had ordered one English breakfast tea, one set of chicken avocado sandwich and large latte in a mug size. The lady at the counter charged us extra for the mug size large so we clarify her why she charged us extra in which the menu doesn’t showed the extra cost at all. She then asked us do u wants the glass size which is aud 4.70 or mug size which is aud 4.50. We then chose we wants a glass size. Finally they has charged us the extra cost. Then about 15 minutes later another gal delivered the chichen avocado sandwich and two drinks in which one drink they gave us wrong. They gave us the mug size of mocca rather than the glass size of latte. And then we asked the gal to clarify and explained to her that what we had ordered and they had charges us extra. Then the gal very rudely and reply us that we had ordered the mug size of mocca and yelled to us very loudly that she don’t understand what is the difference between the size of glass or mug size. And she seems don’t wants to exchanges the right drink to us and very bad customer service. On the other hand, we also saw that other customer has also ordered the glass size as well. They has delivered the correct size to them and they also serves them very nice and friendly. However to the Chinese customer the gal is very very rude and discriminates to the customer like that. It’s RIDICULOUS such a big families cafe locates right in the heart centre of pacific fair shopping centre, have such a BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RUDE TO CUSTOMER. We will DEFINITELY not RECOMMENDED TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILIES ABOUT THIS MANNEQUINS CAFE AND WILL NOT BE BACK AGAIN.

  I have been frequenting this cafe for many years as the coffee is great, but yet to see a smile or an honest welcome on the faces of management. The high staff turnover tells it all. Time to go.A fresh approach needed badly.

  Turned up at 2.45 on Sunday to ask for a cake and cup of tea. The woman behind the counter said I could have the tea but NOT the cake ( sitting in the window). She rudely advised that she would not be serving cake now but I could have the tea. Amazing! It goes to demonstrate that Mannequins Cafe staff have a lot to learn about basic customer service. I will NOT be back.
