Heard a lot about this place so we couldn’t wait to vist. But be careful what you wish for, because waiting was all we did. After waiting 20 minutes to be seated (restaurant doesn’t take bookings) we were ignored by the waitstaff until we got up and asked them to come over. After a delicious entree of cauliflower wings, we waited over 30 minutes for our mains. Asking where our food was, we were told by an unfriendly and unhelpful waitress that it “won’t be long”. By the time it arrived it was almost 8 PM (we got to Greenhouse around 6:40 PM).For our mains we ordered the miso maple pumpkin and the beetroot burger, both of which looked wonderful but unfortunately were bland and tasteless. No exciting flavours at all, even though the presentation was great. Good to see more and more vegan places on the Gold Coast but unfortunately we won’t be going back to Greenhouse.

Relaxed venue with an interesting selection to choose from. The beetroot burger looked and tasted great. Thumbs up from the recipient of this meal! Also ordered the socca- pita rolled and filled with lentils and served with greens.Salad with pumpkin was also visually exciting. All meals were generous and tasty. Very good option if you have vegetarian/ vegans to feed on the Gold Coast.

The location isn’t great but the food is fantastic. The buffalo cauliflower is the best around. It’s a bit on the pricy side, but the food is interesting and creative and delicious and the portion sizes are good.
