Oily, batter was thick and stodgie, chips not cooked properly and flavored by old oil, flake was chewy like it was freezer burnt and potato scollops were raw crunch potatoes in the middle of thick gluggy batter.What was even worse – is you wanted to charge us $1 for chicken salt on a $65 order! What happened to lemon and salt when you pay $15 per serve of fish and chips. Never again- disgusting!
Lolas Fish & Chips have the BEST Fish and Chips on the Gold Coast. I highly recommend them. I had the crumbed Cod and Chips for $9.95 and it was delicious. I recommend Lolas Fish & Chips, its now my favourite Fish and Chips Shop in Broadbeach and the Gold Coast

Worst fish and chips I have ever had. Flake was hard and old and I ordered grilled but was given crumbed. Dim sims were steamed in the microwave (which I could see them doing from where I was sitting). Potatoe cakes were raw and salad was off when I opened the container the smell was disgusting and the cucumber had some kind of slime. 80% of the meal was thrown in the bin. Chips were really good. Will not ever eat here again.
