Omelette alert : 10/10 had a great omelette here this morning. The waitress and staff were friendly and dealt with my dietary requirements. Food was tasty delicious and really lovely. The meal tasted great the tea was nice and hot and the atmosphere is great. A must try if on gold coast.
My boyfriend and I had breakfast Saturday morning at Lola’s Restaurant Cafe Bar and enjoyed our meals. I ordered the smoked salmon rosti with a side of bacon and my boyfriend had the eggs (poached) and bacon with a side of hash browns. When we got our meals there must of been some confusion because my partner got no bacon with his bacon and eggs but since the kitchen was busy we decided to share because we had plenty of food between us. My rosti was delicious with the perfect amount of smoked salmon to make in not too overwhelming in flavour. My coffee was great too and my partner really enjoyed his meal. (Our bacon was the perfect crispness just to add)
It is a restaurant that is in a great position with friendly staff but somehow it misses and it is hard to identify what the problem is it is more the food than service and the room .for me it is just okay – it is not imaginative or got the wow factor.
Lola’s was open on Anzac Day and was very accommodating. We were happy with the choices on the menu. It also didn’t take too long to come out and tasted great.
Oh Lola’s. Every time we have brekky here we regret it. Food is cold. Orders are always wrong. Attitude never on pointe. Note to self – don’t risk it again.
