My family and I went during lunchtime when the food was half price. Although it wasn’t that busy the food took a long time to arrive, about 50 minutes after finally taking out order. The waitress staff were friendly so I assume there wasn’t too many chefs fostered on to complete all the meals on time. The table next to us also experienced the same slow service. Although on the other side, a girl had her meal had her meal in a matter of 10 minutes, even though she ordered it after we did. The food was mediocre. The chips were soft. The spaghetti bolognese was quite good and I think the serving sides were great for the price we got it at but I wouldn’t pay the standard price for it. In conclusion, my experience was long and dreadful and although the price was okay at the time, I would NOT go here if the food was regular priced. And I do not recommend going here if you’re hungry and would like your food to arrive in less than 45 minutes.

Mama Roma is a restaurant that delivers honest food. The waiters are extremely friendly and attentive. The food we had was nice. We enjoyed a chicken salad and fish and chips for lunch.

Disappointing dining experience!!. We chose this restaurant because Max’s Restaurant wouldn’t let us in due to the discount offer expired. That said, this restaurant did look decent, however when the drinks came to the table they did not get the drink right when asking for no ice and getting ice and wanting lime not lemon. I know this isn’t much but when you’re paying $10 a drink you should get what you ask for. The service wasn’t great either when ordering and delivering the drinks. When it came to the food, too be really honest it was average. The chips were over cooked, the veggies had way too much garlic and just drowned in it and the tartare sauce had skin on it along with the pork ribs that were meant to be melt in your mouth, weren’t. My wife’s marinara was served with Parmesan cheese mixed through where this is not normal and the overall taste was just weird. The best part of this dining experience was when we were hit with a 15% surcharge (due to a public holiday) and weren’t even told about it. I questioned it but the response back was its written on the menu board. You would think that as it would be the waiter/server responsibility to advise you (the customer), right? This did not happen and the owner just didn’t care!! We were all disappointed and frustrated as their was no customer service and no care from the staff and owners and will definitely not be going back and i don’t recommend this restaurant.
