  Went to Onyx for drinks before dinner. Firstly, the positives – our cocktails were amazing!!Well prepared, delicious and well presented. Of the two tapas items we ordered the olives were very tasty. The negatives – the service was appalling. We had to call the staff over from the time we were seated. We were not approached by them once. Had to ask for the dirty dishes left on our table to be removed, our food was left on our table without plates or cutlery. Our second tapas item, the bbq pork ribs were tasty but mostly gristle and bone with very little meat at all. In summary, I would recommend only the bar. Go somewhere else for dinner.

  Rude staff and rude security. Tried to reason with them over a bill issue and they were not interested so I’ll have to take the issue further.

  Breakfast at lunchtime. Worst service , ordered our breakfast after sitting for 30 minutes , then waited another 30 minutes for our drinks , finally we get our breakfasts. Nothing special, something you could cook yourself at home for a fraction of the price . Thanks Onyx for wasting an hour and a half of my life !

  Disgraceful service and less then average food!. Went to Onyx to get a bite to eat with the family before my sons graduation. Absolutely appalling service. Took well over 50 mins to be served. They came back and said there was no pork left for one of the meals (after waiting longer then 50 mins). Didn’t even get the wine I ordered for my wife until I mentioned it for the 2nd time. And the food wasn’t even that good, came out cold -_-, and was not worth the money at all!!!!! The only thing that was fast and reliable about there service was how fast they brought me the bill. Rubbish service guys and a poor effort, you should be ashamed!

  Worst service, rude staff and unwilling to do anything beyond taking your order. Questions were answered with ‘I don’t knows’ and no intention of finding out. Ordered drinks and took over half an hour and still hasn’t received them. Spoke to staff they were very unconcerned. Ended up leaving because the poor service was not a nice experience. Don’t waste your time!
