Was pleasantly surprised with this one. Worked out $60 per head with wine and drinks. Sides were reasonable size and meals were bigger than expected. No complaints would definitely go back.
Have just been to Sage for Christmas lunch with my husband & two friends. We were seated at a small table & our drinks came out quickly, unfortunately the food did not follow for about 40 minutes, we were one of the last to be served & suspect they may have been running out of seafood! There were 5 prawns 3 lobster tails a few oysters, a few muscles, smoked salmon & two crabs impossible to extract the meat with no tools to do so. The platter barely fitted on the table along with a plate of only about 8 asparagus spears & 6 potatoes. A plate of ham, turkey, a strip of pork & a some red meats also included. One of us was lucky enough to get 2 prawns. We have been to this restaurant in the past so thought Christmas lunch should be good! Not so for what we all paid!
Pleasantly surprised with Sage! The service was efficient and the food was really good! Great for large groups as Sage has an extensive menu with lots to choose from – seafood, steaks, pizzas, desserts – I had the entree scallops and they were absolutely delicious.
