Ordered a Prawn and Barramuni Tagine – got a mismatch of food piled high on a white plate. Zero taste..zero spice. I do not know what these people are thinking this place is horrible, disappointing and they clearly know nothing about good food. Ruined our night
A Quick bite. After a huge day at work my wife and I where looking for somewhere to eat having eaten here before it was a no brainier the brother’s that own it also work in it and they are exceptionally good at there job very friendly and service is excellent if you are in broadbeach and want a beautiful meal and to be treated like someone special this is the restaurant
Delicious and friendly. On a rare date night hubby and I were looking for a small dinner after we had had a large lunch. This place was a gem to find. We decided to order some small dishes to share like tapas. The duck spring rolls with hoisin sauce were divine. As were the Moroccan cigars – spiced beef rolled in pastry with a yoghurt dip. We love a good chorizo so the pan fried bread and chorizo tapas dish was spicy goodness. It went well with the mixed bread plate – turkish and Italian bread with 3 dips – baba ghannoush, roasted capsicum and a very fruity olive oil with balsamic. We were happy with our choices being just enough to fill us and leave room for dessert. The creme brulee was creamy and smooth although it could have had a thicker sugar crust. The tarte tatin was the winner with crispy puff pastry, well cooked apples and a gorgeous butterscotch sauce. Not traditional but delicious none the less. A great little place, romantic in atmosphere and super friendly service. We shall return to try out the heartier main meals.
