I saw a good review and thought Id try it out. The service was lack lustre and the food was definitely overpriced. The fish was soggy, as were the chips, and the chicken burger appeared to be a homebrand chicken strip cut up, and served with a combination of over, and under cooked onion. Impressive! The fish and calamari were particularly greasy . Need cutlery to eat this.
The fish to coating ratio was great, my Hoki was so delicious and I liked it more than the Snapper, chips tasted a bit oily but was ok, i would try it again. also if you can improve your tartar sauce and put a bigger lemon wedge 😉
Don’t know why this doesn’t have a higher rating. Every time I visit there is wonderful, friendly service, large portions, and obviously fresh seafood and chips. Very worth the price and I would advise anyone to go here as it has some of the best fish and chips in Browns Plains.
Every time we visit we get great service and even better.. great fish and chips! I was referred by a work friend to this place as they have the best fish and chips and they literally do! The calamari is so fresh and tender, best I’ve ever tasted! Is a local favorite and never fails every time
The customer service is great here took our order very quick and brought it out prity fast the food for fish n chips is kinda on the more expensive side we got a piece of cod it was batterd the batter was nice but the fish was not cod and more like basa…and u could tell it was frozen before it had been cook as the fillet was watery but the spring roll n dim sim were nice as was the calamarie and nuggets my daughters had their meals were great value. the decor is very basic but ok to sit and eat in just don’t expect much
Oh my goodness, when I found this place I gave it a try not expecting much as I have been so disappointed over the years with fish and chip shops, but wow it was so awesome, I went home and posted it on Facebook and sent out a text, since then we have been frequent visitors and our family and friends have done the same, value for money, service and quality are exceptional, do yourself a favour and give it a try.
