I had a lovely lunch here with family visiting from Melbourne. I found the $55 2 course lunch deal to be great value for money. Included a glass of wine or beer also. I chose the Charred Kingfish for entree & Goldband Snapper for Main – both were delicious! The staff were also extremely accommodating with offering us the choice of two tables for our booking, as we had my 2 month old baby with us. I found this to be very helpful, as we were away from other diners, for both their benefit & ours. Will definitely return & have recommended the restaurant to others in my Mothers Group for this reason!
It was our second time dining here and we have NEVER been disappointed. Thjs place is truly up there with the best of the best. The food is divine, the staff so hospitable and friendly. We love how the chefs show great respect to the quality of the produce through the way they orchestrate the flavors together. Nothing over complicated, just thoughtfully prepared meals with seasonal ingredients in mind. Everything on the plate was so perfectly matched. Stuart, the head chef is a super star! Together with his wonderful staff, Wes in particular, it made a perfect lunch outing. We had a great time and were so well looked after. Thank you to Stuart and his amazing team! Highly recommend!
We weren’t expecting such a superlative experience when we went out for our anniversary in A little town like Buderim. What a lovely surprise. Yes- We knew this restaurant had a good reputation but didn’t imagine it would match some of our best experiences at top restaurants world wide. The food was impeccable. After the fresh baked bread and butter (delicious), for entree we had the prawn dish and yellow fin tuna dish. Both spectacular. For mains one of us had duck and the other lamb. Greens and potato sides. Everything was flawless. The staff were attentive (maybe the waitress a bit too much so – but she ever so genuinely warm so it was fine). The manager was lovely and hospitable. Given we don’t drink alcohol he was able to mix up a non-alcoholic gin and tonic! Cost wise – I think the quality matched the price. Great night. Oh – don’t eat the bread because it may fill you up too much for dessert (like us) Definitely will visit again when next around Buderim and leave room for dessert. We went in wintertime. I imagine it would be glorious in summer.
Lunch yesterday, with my wife, was once again an exceptional gourmet experience. Harry’s never disappoints. Food and Service was second to none.
Disappointing! The food was not as good as the last time we went. The fish was bland and the vegetables looked tired! Probably the highly commended chef was on holiday! Should have gone to Pitchfork.
