Very disappointed! The menu said there was a vegan option but turns out the option is to just take away the cheese and not replace it with anything. The goats cheese was the most expensive part of the dish and honestly they could have put anything else on instead and I would have been happy, but to claim there is an option is ridiculous. It would be like saying oh the gluten free option is to just take off the bread. For an avacodo on sourdough dish its pretty easy to just chuck some mushrooms / tomatoes / literally any vegetable on it and say yep thats the vegan option. Apparently the vegan option is to just pay extra or go without. Considering the vegan option for the granola bowl was to have vegan yogurt I would have thought the vegan option for avo on toast would be no problem

Been there today for breakfast and coffee this morning. Bit busy but was Cozy cafe with excellent food taste, presentation and service. Outstanding feels I am in Melbourne, quality and meet my standards…….

I wish i could review the food, however we were unable to get a table. My friend and i decided to come here for a saturday brunch, and given that bulimba was quite busy, we were willing to wait for a table. Unfortunately the staff were seating people who arrived after us first. There was no communication, no priority and overall a very poor service. Very disappointed and will not be returning.
Really cool place with vintage/retro decor. There were people painting on canvases in the warehouse section of the restaurant which was quite different but awesome! We were seated at a piano table and the lady who served us was super accommodating. I ordered the vegan Mediterranean bowl which was nice, but the falafels were quite oily so it didn’t taste overly healthy. The mushrooms and sourdough tasted great though, and I don’t know what they did to the rocket but it was delicious!
I really enjoyed this place for late breakfast. The staff were very friendly but they definitely need more staff for such a large area. The food was good made with fresh ingredients.
