Went here last night for dinner after not having been in about 12 months. Still delicious food! Possibly the best frozen strawberry margarita I have ever had(and I have had them all over the world!). Service is not so good and they desperately need fans inside…its so hot in there! However…the food is super yummy…thats why I give it a 4/5!
we dined here recently and were told AFTER we recieved our meal that gucamole had run out for the day. This is a major component of mexican food so we were disappointed and it changed our dishes they were more dry without it. All the other diners were receiving their meals also and only being informed after they had ordered. Not very good thing to do to customers!
Do not eat here if you have an allergy! I called ahead to make sure they could accommodate a dairy allergy and told the wait staff when ordering. My meal came out with a cheese sauce hidden under the meat (only discovered part way through my meal). They then took the meal away and replaced with another that also had cheese sauce. The staff werent apologetic at all. Overall a really negative experience.
Had La quintas ensalada tortilla bowl with grilled steak. The steak was so tough it was not edible … dreadful.. would never go back. Salad was ok lettuce a bit tired. Probably not good pick as takeaway.
Not a bad joint, food was ok and service the same….. will try again another time, Thanks for dinner. cocktails could of been better though
Probably our favourite Mexican in Brisbane! Despite the noise getting pretty damn loud here, the food is absolutely delicious. The highlight? The mango margaritas. We’ll take four thank you! Other recommended dishes would be the enchiladas and the tostada bowl
We have dined in and got take away at La Quinta – we were happy with both experiences. La Quinta has a great atmosphere while dining in (providing you don’t mind a bit of noise). Tasty meals- portion sizes are huge – too big for me! We look forward to eating La Quinta again soon.
