Pretty standard pub meals not terrible but not special either. I probably would not go back again if in Bundaberg I would try something else.
The only saving grace for our visit here was the staff behind the bar, she was really friendly but the rest of the evening was dire. We came on the bingo night and ordered food, a group of around 12 of us ordered and only around 4 actually enjoyed their meals.My chicken parmi was luke warm at best and most of the chips burnt.My partner ordered a burger and again was luke warm and tasted strange. One of our friends ordered the nachos which had barely any meat with it and no flavour.Two others ordered the chicken schnitzel which again had zero flavour.Others had problems with temperature and flavour of the meal.Definitely won’t be coming again but others seem to have had a good experience.
Poor service and burnt steak. Tuesday 19/8/14. My meal was 5 min after everyone else. The waiter could not tell me how the steak was cooked. I ordered medium. It was so dry I could not eat it. The manager did not even offer an apology or a replacement because I eat the salad! This is not the frirst time I had a bad meal at the meto.
Long wait for food and poor customer service. We dined here on Saturday 5th July with family, our bill was approx $150. We waited over 45mins for our meals to come out, then we had to wait a further 10mins for my mums to come out. Once the food came out, we had all finished except mums and there was already a waiter waiting beside her to take her plate while she still had food in her mouth! Our steaks were cold, but didnt want to mention anything at the time as we would have had to wait a further hour for another steak! There was no apology or even mention that there was going to be that much of a wait, as we had to follow up to see what was happening as it was then 7.30pm. We wont be going back unfortunately.
