So we booked a party table of 25 for a Wednesday evening and then had to change it to 30. On the actual evening around 53 people actually turned up! We panicked however the staff handled it so well, closed the place for us and managed to get enough seating for everyone! Got EVERYONES orders right and done quickly. The portions were huge and the prices are reasonable.The staff are also really really friendly. I would definitely recommend to anyone!
Absolutely mouth watering authentic flavours of India. Three generations of India were seen in this restaurant so how could they go wrong!! that’s important. Vindaloo (Australian hot) was beautiful. Can’t do Indian hot yet but wow so many flavours were present. Lovely chunks of soft lamb and accompanied by soft flavoursome coconut rice. Friend ordered Vegetarian and glucose free food that was also superb. Next to Moncreiff so more people should try this beautiful food before a show. They were quick and food was fresh with good prices. As an avid follower and cook of Rick Stein, I can’t wait to dine there again. saves me the trouble!!! yumyum

Rivaaz was closed when we tried to go. I have found out since, that his restaurant is still in business. All their ads say open 7 days 11 AM – 10 PM but when we went there for lunch at 11:50 am on Sat 17 May, 2014, there was no one there and the place was locked up. Might be a good idea to give them a ring before you go.
