This place is a hidden gem! Seriously a crime that it was a quiet night. The haloumi and eggplant stack is life! My bestie had the bacon wrapped lamb cutlets. Amazing! I had the penne carbonara. Marvelous! This place would be a sell out in Brisbane! Excellent prices, impeccable service, great design. The owner was incredibly kind. A must see!!

This is a great find. 100% Gluten free, but by the flavours and the textures you couldn’t tell. The owner served us and stopped long enough to have a chat. Very friendly and prompt, courteous service. The meals came out quickly and we both enjoyed our own(and each other’s) meals. She had the fettuccini Con Polo and he had the chicken Di Angelo. We will definitely be back here!

Kaye D. The Zoo has a new location and a new menu. I took my daughter and grandchildren there for lunch today and it was a wonderful find. The menu has a strong middle/far east influence but there is still some staples on there to tempt those who are less adventurous. The Prawn Casserole was absolutely delicious and I would rate it as the best meal I’ve had in Bundaberg in over thirty years of visiting the city. The Moussaka didn’t disappoint my daughter who rates it as a favourite meal. The grandchildren were served a miniature version of an adult meal of calamari, chips and side salad and they loved it. The batter was light and crunchy, the chips nicely done and the salad had a subtle but tasty citrus dressing. The restaurant is being opened from 10am to 10pm every day, seven days a week and it would be great to see this nice, fresh venue do well. I’ll certainly be visiting each time I’m in town. Great value, excellent service, sensational honest food. Well worth a trip to the Zoo!
