The 4217 has the some of the best food you will find on the Gold Coast. Cha Tea Providores is the newest addition and it is just as lovely as Brooklyn Depot and Salts Meats Cheese. The staff are friendly and service is quick. The food is very fresh and tasty. The tea is beautiful, lots of choice and wonderful flavour, brewed perfectly. TIP: Do try the Scones- they are so light and fluffy they practically melt in your mouth, they come with fresh whipped cream and the most beautiful homemade jam we have ever had. Don’t forget to order some tea- La Vie En Rose was our favourite.
Holidays and weekends are a great time to catch up with friends, to relax and enjoy the finer things of life. There’s no better place for a little indulgence than at Cha Tea Providores, the latest outlet to open in the 4217. A contemporary teahouse focused on reinventing the traditional tea experience, Cha gives a fresh take on tea. Seating just twenty people, it’s a place where you will be spoiled with hands-on service, the tea being poured at your table with beautiful accompaniments presented on bespoke tableware.
During a short holiday to the Gold Coast, The 4217 development at Surfers Paradise was a favourite place to visit; home to Salt Meats Cheese, BKRY, Brooklyn Depot Burgers and Paradox Coffee Roasters, you’re guaranteed delicious quality food.Amongst this stellar culinary line up is Cha Tea Providore. I was originally drawn to the tea store with their Devonshire tea special – $6 for a tea and scone with jam and cream. I ended up enjoying a pot of Colada tea and blueberry muffin for $7. The tea was a Chinese sencha green tea blend with pineapple pieces and tasted coconut chips. There was definitely a tropical note and it was a lovely tea.If you’re into tea, this place is a must-visit.
