Previously I have eating here and had great service and fantastic food. Great food well cooked this time but terrible service had to keep asking for the food I have ordered. Its a pity for a return customer who had previously had an awesome dining experience here
Seasoning Needed!!!!Good points;Sides goodPork – greatChicken – greatBad Points;Beef – dry and needed salt!Kangaroo- very tough / overlooked. Lamb – needed salt!When it’s all about the meat they should make absolutely sure that they get it right. Not far off but the chef needs to season the meat. We were sitting near the kitchen/ grill and watched the chef absolutely smoother the grilled pineapple in sugar, but barely salted the meat.
Don’t go here expecting some kind of fine dining, intimate experience. Don’t go here if you’re on a diet or if you’re vegetarian. Do go here if you’re iron deficient and/or expecting a ridiculous feed of comfort food and MEEEAAAT!!!! It’s great fun to go with a few mates, have a few drinks, and eat more food in one sitting than you would care to eat in a week. The staff are friendly and good humoured and the vibe is loud and cheerful. Best $50 spent in Cairns on a decent feed to date! The pork is amazing!
Didn’t disappoint. We stayed at the pullman and had breakfast every morning that was always good and plenty of selection. Omelettes on demand were especially delicious. High tea was decadent and special and the seafood buffet and grill excellent value for money with a selection of crab, prawns and oysters and a choice from the regular grill menu. Can recommend the charcuterie board by the pool.21 Apr, 2015Great experience. The meat was yummy and although there was some wait at times between being brought more meat the sides kept us going. Pork was my favourite. Good value for money and attentive service.
A different experience. As much as you can eat. Salads were good. Chicken amazing. Served quickly to start but then had to wait a little for the meat to come around. Would recommend everyone tries it at least once just for the experience
Expensive but worth the money. Great meal on a holiday to Cairns, saw this place had fantastic reviews and definitely lived up to expectations. Great sides to accompany an evening of meat.
