I had a very bad experience at this cafe. First of all, I was charged additional charge for having to pay for takeaway packaging and there was not even a sign to notify me. Secondly, I had to wait 35 minutes for my meal. When it came out, it was definitely not what I had expected. The size of the meal was so small for something that costed $17.20. The cook was definitely not generous with the food. The spinach was soggy and chewy and the wet paper at the base of the packing meant that little bits of soggy paper were in my meal. Plus there as no sign of basil pesto and therefore a lack of flavour – just brussel sprouts, broccoli and a sprinkle of quinoa here and there. Unacceptable, not tasty and very disappointing.

Came here because the one at Kangaroo Point was excellent, but very disappointed after this visit. Second worst cafe I’ve dined at in Gold Coast after The Deck Cafe.

Staff handled all the food with their hands then touched the till.No tables were clean and the attitude of staff was disgusting.
