A really cool speakeasy feel to this place, especially on Sunday with the most amazing live band playing jazz. We liked the asparagus wrapped pork belly and on special’s menu- Wasabi prawn. All in all a nice yakitori place to hang with friends
Great Yakitori and Whisky Selection!!Huge range of Japanese whisky with knowledgeable staff who are there to help.
Cute setting and relaxing atmosphere but extremely hard to find, no signage or whatever so we had to call and got directions. Ordered the $7 chicken soup with seasonal vegetable, very salty and served in a cup, felt like I was having a $1.50 Chicken Maggie cup noodle soup minus the noodle. The $10 Chicken gizzard was pretty bland but texture was god, still had that crunch without over cooking it. The $8 Chicken sasami was by far my favorite, served with a delicious wasabi flavoured radish really brightens the palette. The $9 Chicken tabasaki was quite bland unless you add the Japanese chilli powder provided by the restaurant! Overall an OK place if you want to catch up with mates and have light bites but I wouldn’t come back just to dine.
