Decked out in bright orange, vibrant and fresh, it’s hard to miss the Paleo Café. Under bright umbrellas and shaded by Connor Street’s Poinciana trees, it’s a breath of clean air to the Burleigh dining scene. Paleo Café Burleigh is the latest in the franchise founded by Marlies and Jai Hobbs, and when we visit Marlies is in the café to answer questions about the paleo lifestyle. With professional backgrounds in environmental law and finance, the young couple struggled to cope with the food intolerances of their infant son. Not only did the adoption of a paleo lifestyle solve those issues; Marlies and Jai also noticed many other health benefits.
Bulletproof coffee? one word -Amazing!! I was blown away by this brew, strong, smooth & creamy. They make it with a hit of good fat & it really hits the mark, especially with the proverbial Saturday morning hangover, what an ultimate cure!! They also do great smoothies & the food is guilt free fare. Just loved the fritters which was served with lots of leaf & tomatoe. Basic & simple food which is right up my alley will definately be back-thank you
I wish I liked it here because I enjoy healthy food but it’s got to taste good! Unfortunately the food just wasn’t tasty enough.. There’s definitely potential here, maybe the cooks just need to taste more of there dishes and add more flavour as necessary.
The food has the potential to be great but for me it just missed the mark. I know it’s all healthy and good for you food but it was missing so much flavour. My meal was pretty bland and certainly could have packed more of a punch flavour wise.
