Came here on a quiet Sunday morning for brunch. There was our table and 2 other tables. We ordered our drinks and food and the drinks came out in about 10 minutes; however an hour later we were still waiting for our food. I approached the counter to which the guy asked me if I would like to order. I looked at him in horror and told him that we had already ordered an hour ago and were wondering where our food was. He then asked me which table I was at (sorry, but there were 3 tables – not hard mate!). He then said it was “on its way”. Clearly not because we had to wait a further 20 minutes. Considering all they had to do was poach 6 eggs (2 each for the 3 of us), toast 3 slices of bread (dry AF) and a few garnishes, it was extremely disappointing. The food was basic and not worth the wait or price. No apology. Nothing. Would not recommend, nor will we return.

Then service is very friendly and efficient here which is the main points for my score. The food is reasonably priced but wasn’t amazing. Apparently a new chef starts soon so I’m looking forward to returning and eating off a different menu.

Second to none in food quality, coffee, other products and health consciousness. Unfortunately though, they don’t do table service, which deters me from having any meetings or group catch ups there. But the good news is, once they start doing table service it will be one of the best cafes in Queensland. The extra $20 an hour for a waiter/waitress would be a wise investment in the long term.

Finally a cafe that really knows what REAL food is and how to create delicious nourishing food thats truly satisfying! This place is a rare find for anyone who won’t compromise on their health or health of their children. There’s a growing awareness of the dangerous health impacts associated with consuming vegetable oils such as canola, cotton seed, rice bran, margarines etc BUT still our cafe and restaurants choose convenience over health. Too often great food is ruined by the oil/fat its cooked in. Oils that slowly build up in our bodies over time destroying gut health, which in turn effects the whole body.   Here we have a truly amazing cafe that suits the whole family! Wonderfully delicious wholesome real food thats cooked in real fat such as ghee and lard. Super nutritious traditional fats that are loaded with the fat soluble vitamins A, D & K. I rarely eat out, even on holidays I choose appartments where I can cook! Finding this place was incredibly exciting. My 12 year old could choose anything off the menu (except coffee 🙂  ) and she was in heaven! Everything made from scratch and super delicious! Thanks for existing guys, and thanks for not compromising.

Tucked just off the Main Street, Real Food takes all the questions out of healthy eating. Their entire menu is gluten and refined sugar free, plus dairy free unless you select a meal with cheese or the like. They have a selection of standard menu items from smashed avo to burgers, but all with the healthy take.I thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the pacing under the trees, enjoying my salted caramel smoothie and their take on the chicken Parma with slaw and sweet potato chips. I was certainly full for the rest of the day! Definitely recommend them as both less overpriced and less crowded than some of the other cafes in town, plus no cuts on quality.
