We give this place a pass mark. OK so the view is fantastic, but good luck getting a table out there if you haven’t made a reservation. A few girlfriends and I sat at a table without a reserved sign only to be told (rather rudely I might add) by some patrons who walked up to us 5 minutes later that it was “their table” according to a waiter. Said waiter asked us to move on as apparently all tables on the balcony are for “bookings only”. Nevertheless we made a reservation on the balcony on the following night and ordered steak, calamari and gnocchi. The calamari was the best dish, followed by the standard fare steak and a disappointing gnocchi (pesto not fresh). Personally, I feel the prices are a quite steep for the quality of the food. However if you’re on a blissful GC holiday giving zero you-know-whats and you’re looking for a place with a nice sea view, make a reservation here and stick with the classic dishes.
