The service here is amazing! The food needs a little improvement but I’ll be back. The person serving us was so accepting of our feedback about the food and I love that!

Surprisingly disappointed. I thought Larder would surely be fantastic as I’ve been told it’s owned by the same people who run Blackboard in Varsity (which is incredible by the way). The coffee was simply just not good. Paid $17 dollars for the eggs your way. My poached egg was over cooked, the bacon lacked flavour (didn’t even realise this was possible), mushrooms were bland and there is no salt on any tables to compensate. I can see why the overall rating is a 3. Larder you need to step up your game!
I went with the Potato Rosti benedict with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, and added Byron Bay bacon, which provided me with much joy. The slab of bacon was an inch thick and was dripping with fatty juiciness. The rosti underneath was crunchy and provided a nicer texture than the usual toast or Turkish that Eggs Benny normally comes with.
AMAZING. I had breakfast here two days in a row. Wonderful service and beautiful food!
