Years ago my review would have been different but we gave them another try last night and am so glad I did. The other local shop is so expensive and the food quality very average. The chip serving size here was very generous and were crispy and fresh and very tasty. The fish and calamari were also amazing! This will now be our regular!

While the chips were delicious and freshly cooked (need more salt), waiting 32 mins for a single serve of chips when the chicken was already cooked & put in the box when first ordered (from hotbox) meant the chicken was barely warm and dry by the time I got it home. On a positive the seasoning on the chicken was delicious. Place was busy, so it’s obviously very popular, this was my first time visiting and the 32 minute wait for a single serve of chips was a bit much which makes me nervous to try again. Will try phone ordering next time as they seem to get priority (heard several phone ordered taken and picked up in the same time I was sitting there)
Very friendly staff, clean shop.I ordered chips and gravy, I was asked twice if I wanted chicken salt and I said yes both times, when I arrived home there was no salt at all on the chips. Gravy was nice but needed salt!
