Have been going to Cafe Da Cruize for years…but no more. Went for breakfast this morning. Half an hour after ordering, still no coffee. Checked with the staff…order had been lost. Over an hour from ordering, still no food, yet people who had arrived after us were being served. Cancelled order and left. The cafe wasn’t even very busy. This cafe used to have a great reputation, with good reason, but unfortunately, for us at least, no more.
Been going here for 8 years. Even after change of ownership the food service and prices have remained impressive. Menu is extensive, very polite staff, short wait times, consistent quality of food and best coffee I’ve found.
Went there on Friday with my parents. It was the worst coffee I think I have ever had. I ordered a long black and I have my suspicions it may have actually been instant. Revolting. I couldn’t drink it.
