Visited the cafe for breakfast. Beautiful location on the esplanade. Had avo smash and eggs with feta and The veggie breakfast. The food was above average but a generous portion size and very filling. Well priced too.. Will visit again
Went for breakfast. Wasn’t very adventurous. Had eggs and bacon on toast but what I did like was that the toast wasn’t sour dough or one of the heavier breads. It was a light and fluffy bread which I haven’t had for a while, so that was good. The bacon was tasty and still chewy, which I prefer and the eggs were light. It was quite pleasant to sit out and watch the traffic go past. Had an iced coffee – no cream – which was sufficiently milky so I also enjoyed that.
We came here for dinner on our last night in Cairns and couldn’t have chosen better. The service was by far the best we had in a long time. Our waiter Jonathan was super friendly. As soon as the water was close to empty we got a new bottle. The kitchen even made up a customised veggie wrap for me that wasn’t normally part of the menu cause I said that this was what I felt like. The wrap as well as the pasta we got were delicious. The prices are super cheap for the nice location (at the esplanade) especially compared to other restaurants around. Big portions as well!! Definitely go here if you are in Cairns! Thanks Jonathan for looking after us!!
Very nice place. We had breakfast there and really enjoyed it. The cappuccino and latte were pretty good, nice presentation of the food. I would definitely recommend it.
Arrived on a busy night to be told there was around a 30 minute wait for food. Not an issue as we could still get a table and have a drink, glad they told us upfront about the wait. food arrived well within that time frame and everyone was very happy with their meals. reasonably priced and lovely food.
My partner ordered chicken souvlaki and I ordered a chicken salad. It took over 45mins to be served so we were starving when we finally got our food. I would say that it was overpriced for what you get even though the food was nice. Next time I’ll just go to subway!
Loved the coffee here was smooth & strong. Not only that they do anamazing selections of sweets, those macarons were generously sized & delicious, I want more!!
