The service was slow. Calamari was pretty good. Garlic bread was very salty. Prawn risotto was below average. The ambience was decent but it wasn’t even crowded for the service to be so slow
I came back to this place as I remember it from 7 years ago with the best entre calamari and barra dishes. We’ll this time I was not as happy as last. The entre of calamari was very dissapointing for $20. Only a handful of what appeared to be frozen salt and pepper squid. Not the basket of fresh calamari I had a few years back.As for the main my wife and I had the macadamia barramundi and that was devine. So a 3.5 star was what we believe.
Ordered bug and prawn royale, its actually a chilled dish but I requested them to make it hot and they did it perfectly. I also ate the rice, they gave me lemon and water to wash my hand after eating. The service was excellent. The seafood baked monray was excellent. Will come again, very recommended
We had dinner at Bills and it was a great surprise. We ordered scallops pernot (delicious!), grilled Australian angus sirloin, beef and chili pasta and Barramundi Karumba. The fish was delicious too. We were very pleased with the food. The only critic was that the food took almost 30min to get to our table. The restaurant was full and thus very understandable. Staff very nice and continuously apologised for the delay.
Barramundi cajun salad no good. Tried the barramundi cajun salad. Fish tasted like cheap Basa fish and salad poorly presented.
Recommended if you can afford. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was great but expensive. Recommended if you’re looking to treat yourself
Lack of interest from staff.. Despite us being able to see there were multiple empty tables the staff decided to not even attempt to accommodate my friends and I at the start of my bucks night. Now, if my friends and I were intoxicated and rowdy I could understand being turned away, but considering it was somewhere between 6pm and 7pm on a Friday and we were yet to begin any partying I found being turned away most distasteful. We instead went back to the hotel and ordered seafood there. A much better choice if the service was anything to go by.
