I had the most delicious ice cream here- lychee flavour! So good! I never expected it to taste so like lychee. There’s quite few flavours to choose from and they also accept eftpos.

A cute little dessert place tucked away from the esplanade. Lovely array of gelato, sorbets, ice cream sandwiches and popsicles are on offer here. Tonight we sampled some of the gelato. Loved the pistachio and Himalayan salted caramel. The scoops are very generous here!
Hands down the Best ice cream experience in terms of flavour and authenticity. I was in cairns for a short period of time and. Went around for gelati. The owners at Gelocchio are very kind and professional,I will return always to this place as it delivers only fresh product and excellent service. Grazie, Nino.
The ice cream here is absolutely delicious. The basil and lemon gelato is amazing and so is the himalayan salted caramel ice cream. I could go on… if you’re in Cairns and have a sweet tooth this place is a must!
While living in Cairns for 6 weeks my friends and I visited Gelocchio a minimum of once per week! There is so much variety in their flavours and they really take advantage of their tropical location with their ingredients. My favourite flavour was soursop, but dragonfruit and pistachio were also amazing. The owners are absolutely lovely and were always happy to give you a taste test of one of their interesting flavours.
Hands down best salted caramel ice cream sandwich I’ve ever had in my life!!! I’ll be dreaming of this little gem of a place every time I feel like ice cream My partner had a mango and strawberry Popsicle and he loved it. Can’t wait to go back here next time I’m in Cairns!
